Bridgeville is a small borough about 8 miles southwest of downtown Pittsburgh, wrapped by Collier Township, South Fayette and Upper St. Clair. It took its name from the first bridge over Chartiers Creek, and the old saying "Meet me at the bridge" is part of local history.
